Fire Suppression - BlazeCut C Series

The BlazeCut C Series is an automatic fire suppression system that can be installed in enclosed or indoor locations, with typical applications ranging from agricultural machinery to commercial kitchens.
The C Series systems come supplied with your choice of HFC-227ea (FM200) or FK-5-1-12 (Novec 1230) both highly effective, UL recognised and FM approved, clean fire suppression agents with an ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential) of zero. The C Series also offers the use of a powder agent, with good suppression performance against Class A, B, C and electrical fires. Finally a foam agent is also offered for use against Class F fires (involving cooking oils and fats) due to its strong suppression performance and results against reignition.
The BlazeCut C Series comes in three different variants, all highly customisable with added optional components. All variants involve the fire suppressant being stored in one or more cylinders.
DLP
The Direct Low Pressure system (DLP) is the simplest in design out of the three variants, with the standard system including just the detection tube and the pressurised cylinder containing the suppression agent, with optional add-ons also available. The system is referred to as ‘direct’ because once a fire starts the pressurised detection tube will rupture where the effect of the fire is greatest, this causes the release of the suppression agent from the attached cylinder through the hole in the detection tube and on to the fire.
The DLP is ideal for smaller enclosed environments such as engine bays and server racks.

ILP
The Indirect Low Pressure system (ILP) differs from the DLP primarily through the dispersal mechanism of the fire suppressant. While the ILP still uses the detection tube, the release of pressure from the detection tube upon detect
ion of fire, and it rupturing, causes the opening of a valve piston within the cylinder to then release the suppressant through a series of nozzles as shown here.
The ILP can also be equipped with BlazeWire instead of the BlazeCut detection tube, using linear heat detection wire attached to an electronic solenoid valve on the storage cylinder to trigger the release of the fire suppressant.
The ILP is suggested for much larger environments, such as commercial kitchens, and can come with a wide range of additional modifications.

The C Series vast range of customisability is not limited to system length and amount of agent used, the C Series can also be customised to include:
- Manual actuators, both pneumatic and electronic
- Pressure switch, to connect to other systems to trigger various functions such as switching off electrical currents or shutting down systems etc
- Smoke and heat detectors
- Alarm panels
- Beacons, multi tone sounders and signalling units
