Li-Ion Tamer GEN 3 – Detecting early signs of lithium-ion battery failures
The Li-ion Tamer GEN 3 is an advanced device that detects the venting of battery electrolyte solvent vapours (off-gassing phase) that occurs early in the failure mode of lithium-ion batteries.
Providing up to 6.4 minutes of early warning, these systems give personnel critical time to respond to potential battery failures and fire risks.
By enabling earlier intervention than traditional protection systems, the Li-ion Tamer GEN 3 helps facility managers mitigate risks and respond effectively before thermal runaway events escalate into dangerous and costly incidents.
