A highly effective, clean and safe solution for fire suppression in enclosed environments
By releasing a blend of naturally occurring gases, inert gas systems lower oxygen to stop combustion while offering a clean, residue-free alternative to traditional water-based suppression methods that can damage sensitive equipment and assets.
As standard, humans can tolerate oxygen levels of 10% or above, while combustion generally requires oxygen levels of 15% or higher. By reducing oxygen levels to a safe 12-14%, our systems achieve the ideal balance between protecting life and effectively suppressing fire and preventing re-ignition.
Standard system discharge times range from 60 to 120 seconds. Due to the rapid discharge of gas, relief venting is used to rebalance pressure back to normal levels.
Our gas suppression blends available
Inergen fire suppression - IG541
A blend of Nitrogen (42%), Argon (50%) and small amount of CO2 (8%). The addition of CO2 provides better help for human absorption of oxygen in a depleted oxygen environment.
Argonite fire suppression - IG55
This blend of Argon (50%) and Nitrogen (50%) provides excellent stability and distribution, helping maintain effective gas concentration throughout the protected space for longer periods.
I3 Fire Suppression - IG55
Utilising the same 50/50 Argon and Nitrogen blend as the standard IG55, I3 systems incorporate regulated valves to reduce the pressure shock when the fire suppression system is initially deployed.
